English Springer Spaniel
The springer spaniel is used by hunters to make game or birds
"spring" out of their hiding places in the undergrowth. They enjoy
hunting for water fowl and can be taught to collect shot birds from the water
and bring them back in their soft mouths.

bird may sit in the long grass and hide - it thinks it will not be seen -
but along comes a springer spaniel and the bird is detected. It rises in the
air and tries to flee. The spaniel knows where the birds are. God knows
where WE are at all times. Psalm 139 says, "Oh Lord, you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise. You even know my thoughts. You see my
going out and lying down. You know what I'm about to say before I say
it...You saw me even when I was still in the womb... I praise you!"
