I see lots of anonymous websites,
and I'm always curious to know who is behind them, so I thought I'd tell
you a little about myself.
How the website came into being
At the time of writing (2009) I'm ain my 60's, female, single, &
proudly abstinent. (NOT looking for a partner, so I'm not going to give
out my contact details!)
I own & run a boarding kennel, which has given me a broad knowledge
of dogs, cats, and other pets.
My first little website was about my own dogs. It was a free website. I
was excited to see my pics online! This was before the current explosion
of pet websites! I started getting emails like, "How do I get rid of
fleas?" or "What should I feed my great Dane?" Folk took me
to be a "Pet Expert!" (LOL) As I researched answers to these
questions, I saw that there was a need for a comprehensive website about
pets.
I'm STILL learning about pets, so do send me info & pics about your
breed!
Hobbies & Interests
One's recreational interests change with the different seasons of life.
I've never excelled at anything, but I'm glad I've had a chance to try out
lots of activities.
School days: reading, building snowmen & ice slides, hitting balls
around, skipping, pony trekking, even had a go at ski-ing on nursery
slopes, & learned how to sail a small yacht.
Teens: Listened to pop music. Went to youth groups at church.
Twenties: marriage, babies
Adulthood: bringing up kids.
Have lived in 3 countries, so have a broad outlook on the world.
Late adulthood: Got rid of my TV (Should have done it years ago!)
Breeding dogs (I've had enough of that!) Got boarding kennel. Got
computer. Internet has opened up a new dimension in my life. I LOVE it!
I made an attempt at a personal page by blogging (see link to blog
bottom left) but I guess I'm not a very good blogger. I don't add posts
regularly
