| Haflinger
horses originated in Austria, in the village of Haflinger, which is now
Italian territory. They come for Austrian/Tyrolean mountain horses
interbred with Arabians.
Haflingers are gentle, people-friendly, sturdy
horses, which make them ideal for family use. They have also been used as
workers, carting, racing, dressage and jumping. It is a small horse, and
is easy to keep. They have been used for therapy riding programs.
A breed standard is regulated by the World Haflinger Federation (WHF)
an international
governing body. The WHF is made
up of a confederation of 22 national registries, and helps to set
breeding objectives, guidelines and rules for its member organizations.

| A
horse will sometimes bolt and run into danger, refusing to listen to
his master calling him back.
You and I are sometimes like that. We turn away from
God and get into trouble. God is listening, waiting to hear us say
"What have I done?" and to repent and turn back to Him.
