Warlander Horses

Warlander horses were produced by crossing Andalusians and Friesians. This was done in order to create a baroque type horse that had the good qualities of both breeds. They are intelligent and enjoy being trained for riding.

The International Warlander Society has been established to create a standard for the breed and register progeny.

Height: Warlanders must be no less than 14.3 hands (1.50m) at the withers by age four, and no taller than 16.2 hands.

Color: Any solid coat color. No markings are permitted except for white markings below the knee, or on the face.

"When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and a people greater than you, don't be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is with you."

Deuteronomy 20, 1
